Animal Care Apprenticeship

Your training and responsibilities as an Animal Care Apprentice, will include (but not be limited to) the following:

Animal Husbandry: Feed, water, and monitor the daily health of our livestock Enclosure Maintenance: Clean out shelters, pens, and maintain high standards of hygiene Health & Welfare: Assist with basic treatments, grooming, first aid, and health checks Farm Duties: Help with general estate maintenance, including checking fences and moving animals safely Record Keeping: Keep accurate, daily logs of animal behaviour , feed intake, and treatments.

You’ll learn side-by-side with experienced Farmers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, giving you hands-on exposure to a wide range of tasks and a real understanding of how the whole business operates. With dedicated mentoring and support, you’ll build confidence, develop in-demand skills, and lay strong foundations for a long-term career in animal care.

Training:

The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group Training will be provided at the farm every 6 weeks on a one to one basis. giving you the training and support you need to become successful.

Working Hours :
Thursday -Monday. Weekdays 9am-4pm Weekends 9am-3 pm with 30 mins unpaid break.
