Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
Your training and responsibilities as an Apprentice Technician/Mechanic, will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop Complete a range of services/repairs and inspect and prepare a vehicle to the required quality standard for handover to the customer Use a range of diagnostic equipment Remove and replace a range of parts and components where repair is not possible Engage customers and provide a consistently good service Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceededYou’ll develop your skills alongside time-served Techs who are eager to pass on their knowledge, help you learn a variety of duties and support the whole garage. You’ll be taught and mentored to achieve your full potential and become another fully qualified member of the team.

Training:
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists; RNN Group at their dedicated motor vehicle training centre based at the Dearne Valley Campus (Rotherham). You’d attend on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and qualified Technician/Mechanic.

Monday to Friday (with one day per-week spent training at college), 08:00 - 17:00.
