Machine Shop Apprentice

Your training and responsibilities as an Machine Shop Apprentice, will include (but not be limited to) the following:

Set and operate manual lathes, milling and drilling machines as required Work towards programming, setting and operation of CNC machinery Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly Understand and read engineering drawings/symbols Operate overhead crane as required (once trained); Operate forklift truck as required (once trained); Work to quality standards required for the components; Cut materials from stock bar maintaining material identity at all times; Undertake final inspections of finished components; Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself; When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceeded

Training:

The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their Worksop campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.
