Hairdressing level 2 apprenticeship

Welcoming clients and providing excellent customer service Preparing the salon and work areas before appointments Shampooing and conditioning clients’ hair Assisting stylists with cutting, colouring and styling services Learning and practising blow-drying and styling techniques Helping with colour preparation and application under supervision Carrying out consultations and developing communication skills Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional salon environment Washing towels, restocking products and keeping the salon organised Learning about haircare products and recommending them to clients Supporting the team with day-to-day salon tasks Attending college training and completing apprenticeship coursework Building confidence and developing practical hairdressing skills

Training:

Training will take place at designated college provider either one day a week or once a fortnight.

The salon placement will be at the Fine to Fabulous Salon, 11 Richardson Road, Hove, BN3 5RB for a minimum of 30 hours on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday (possibly Friday aswell).

Training Outcome:

A full or part time employed position at Fine to Fabulous Salon.

Employer Description:

Established hair and beauty salon since 2016. Salon floor for hair clients and separate beauty room. We offer hair extensions and hair up for weddings and vintage styling. We work with all professional products such as YUV Beauty, NXT, Goldwell, Schwarzphof. Great, friendly team in a busy working environment.

Working Hours :
Monday, Thursday and Saturday, 9.00am - 6.00pm (Possibly adding Friday).
