Key aspects of the role include:
Working directly with pupils across key stages 1 and 2 Support the delivery of swimming across National Curriculum PE lessons Support extra-curricular activities Undertaking routine maintenance of equipment, water testing and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool environment Delivery of a range of interventions to support targeted pupil learning Run/organise sports competitions/events Use of technology to engage pupils with physical activity and sports especially swimming Supporting holiday camp programmes and other extracurricular activities (where necessary) Support other projects and activities relating to participation in sport and physical activityAbout the Candidate:

Pool Stars is a family-run private swim school based in Wyboston, Bedfordshire, founded by George Jenkins, who has over 15 years’ experience in PE teaching and sports coaching.
Company summary
Pool Stars provides high-quality swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, children and adults, with both group and 1-to-1 sessions available. Their approach is centred around small class sizes, individual attention and making swimming fun, inclusive and engaging.
They operate from their own privately owned, 31°C heated indoor pool, giving them exclusive use of the facility and allowing them to create a comfortable learning environment without distractions. Classes have a maximum 3:1 swimmer-to-teacher ratio.
