Early Years Apprentice

To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors at all times. To help plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes. To undertake any reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery aims and objectives. Be a reliable member of the team, working cooperatively and with flexibility, contributing positively. Treat each child as an individual and have a general understanding of childcare and child development. Play alongside and with children to support their play Share information about children’s achievements and play with room staff. Offer ideas and suggestions about activities and opportunities for children’s play. Ensure the play area is clean and tidy at all times. Ensure that the designated member of staff for safeguarding or manager, is aware of any incidents affecting the welfare of the children in your care. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Training:

The training is delivered via monthly online workshops. The trainer will also visit the workplace every 8-10 weeks to conduct reviews.

 

 

Training Outcome:

The possibility of securing a permanent position and further training opportunities.

New Century Nursery is a well-established nursery in Deal, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years old in a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The nursery is open year-round and provides high-quality early years education and care, supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

Working Hours :
The hours will be minimum 30 hours a week, maximum 40 hours. The shift pattern will be flexible between the hours of 8am-6pm. The Nursery is open all year round.
