Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Assist with measuring construction works and preparing cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for projects. Support the procurement process by obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, comparing costs, and helping to prepare contracts. Monitor project costs and progress, maintain accurate records, and assist in producing financial reports and forecasts. Work closely with quantity surveyors, site teams, and clients, attending meetings and helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Training:
The apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in L4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician. The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a day release programme which means you will attend Lincoln College, one day a week, term-time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

Training Outcome:

Progression from HND to BSc if wish to progress Professional Qualification – CIOB To be a Quantity Surveyor with Project Management / Estimating skills.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday – 08.00 to 17.00 Friday – 08.00 to 16.00. Flexibility pending travel to sites etc.
