Early Years Apprentice Level 2 - Holy Family Catholic Primary School

Your duties will include to work alongside the Early Years Practitioners and Assistants and contribute, under guidance, to the following:

The delivery of high quality, flexible and affordable childcare within the Nursery to meet the needs of the families of that community The promotion of equality of opportunity and inclusive policies and practices in all aspects of the work of the childcare provision and the Nursery The provision of an inclusive, stimulating and secure care and learning environment for young children Effective links with parents/carers as directed to ensure positive and effective relationships between the parents/carers and staff Team planning and discussion with supervisory staff to ensure individual children’s needs can be met effectively The appraisal and supervision system in order to receive regular and ongoing support and guidance and constructive feedback on personal practice and roles and responsibilities The key worker system The provision of inclusive high quality, caring and stimulating environment which promotes the children’s development and learning The delivery of a creative and innovative range of play and learning experiences, making full use of indoor and outdoor opportunities The assessment of individual children’s needs and the care and development programmes to meet those needs Effective communication with staff, parents, school colleagues, other agencies and the local community Ensuring that OFSTED inspection requirements are met Personal responsibility for following relevant policies and procedures including those relating to Safeguarding Children, Health and Safety, security, confidentiality and data protection

Training:
Qualification - Level 2 Early Years Practitioner The training will be delivered at the workplace.

Training Outcome:
Apprentice will receive on programme support from an Apprenticeship Officer and Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance support during the last 2 months of their Apprenticeship contract Job seeking support is also included
