Level 3 Apprentice Dental Nurse

Chairside support: Help the dentist during treatments by passing instruments and handling materials. Infection control: Clean, sterilize, and prepare the surgery room and dental tools. Patient care: Welcome patients, keep them calm, and provide aftercare instructions. Administration: Update patient records and manage appointment logs. Training progress: Attend study sessions and complete training required for registration with the General Dental Council.

Training:

This role is across both practice sites, Normanton and Featherstone.

You will receive work- based training with set online live classes with yur tutor. You will also receive regular visits from your tutor in the workplace. One visit required during the apprenticeship to Wakefield college for a simulation.

Training Outcome:

Successful apprentices may be offered a permanent role within the practice. There are also opportunities to gain additional qualifications and progress into specialist dental nursing, treatment coordination, or management roles.

08:45 until 17:15, Monday to Friday.
