Adult Care Lead Apprentice

Duties to include but are not limited to:

Supporting adults with a range of care and support needs Showing understanding of person-centred care, dignity, choice, independence, and safeguarding Following care plans, risk assessments, and organisational policies Communicating effectively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary professionals Working independently and as part of a team Mentoring, supervising and leading shifts Supporting colleagues Developing on leadership skills Maintaining care records with IT systems

Training:
Apprenticeship Standard: Level 5 Lead in Adult Care You will be required to attend St Austell College a day a week as part of your apprenticeship training You will receive on and off-the-job training and support from an assessor and an Apprenticeship advisor

Training Outcome:
You may wish to progress to a Deputy Manager or Registered Care Manager role

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, may work evenings and weekends.
