Apprentice Commercial Vehicle Workshop Technician

Assist experienced technicians with servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles. Learn how to carry out periodic safety inspections and MOT preparations. Support engine servicing and maintenance activities. Assist with repairs to engines, gearboxes, suspension, clutches, brakes and electrical systems. Learn to use computer diagnostic equipment and perform fault-finding procedures. Help maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment. Gain hands-on experience working on customer vehicles and our fleet of heavy recovery vehicles. Develop practical skills and industry knowledge through on-the-job training.

Training:

Attend Slough & Langley College once a week 

Training Outcome:

Permanent employment with opportunities in our workshop and as a roadside technician or a recovery technician for the right candidate. Opportunity for the right candidate to gain a HGV Class 1 driving license when at the required age. All future prospects depend on the level of commitment and work attained during the apprenticeship.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
