Customer Service Apprentice

Take part in the range of general receptionist duties as needed Flexibly contribute to all the receptionist’s workload as directed by the manager Ensure the reception and waiting areas are tidy and safe and provide a welcoming appearance to patients and visitors. Team player with the ability to be flexible in which hours you work from week-to-week and be willing to work above the stated hours if needed. Demonstrate self-organisation and flexibility and the ability to prioritise workload, working to strict deadlines To communicate with staff and visitors daily, providing support where required and working to help resolve any issues To record and securely store information relating to confidential matters and enquiries

Training:

Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be
planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard. On-the-job and off-the-job training will be delivered in the workplace.

Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2
qualifications in maths and English, will need to achieve level 1
functional skills in these and work towards level 2 functional skills.

Training Outcome:

There may be an opportunity to join the team on a permanent
basis once the apprenticeship has been completed, but this would
depend on a position being available.
