Hospitality Apprentice

Support café operations by preparing food and beverages Provide excellent customer service Ensure all food and drink are made to specification, with awareness    of allergens and cross‑contamination Maintain cleanliness across the café, including tables, counters and equipment Restock ingredients, drinks and supplies throughout the day Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly Assist with opening and closing duties Handle payments accurately at the till Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere

Training:

Training will take place hands‑on in the workplace, where you will learn all café duties through practical experience. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by a dedicated tutor, who will provide regular guidance, reviews and additional learning to help you develop the skills and knowledge required for the role. 
 

Training Outcome:

There is potential to progress into a supervisor role after successfully completing the apprenticeship, building on the skills and experience gained while working as part of our team.

The Test of Stockbridge is a café on the bank of the River Test in the heart of Stockbridge serving local food and excellent coffee in a beautiful location.

Working Hours :
7am to 4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.
