Apprentice Carpenter

Accountable for the safety of yourself and those around you whilst in the workplace, ensuring you are also environmentally conscious. Purchase tools throughout your apprenticeship to enable you to perform your role on completion of your apprenticeship. Always remain polite & professional. Punctual in both work and college settings, this includes ensuring all coursework is completed on time Have a real interest in carpentry type work

Training:
You will work alongside your mentor for four days per week and attend South Hampshire College Group at the Eastleigh site for one day a week, to study and pass a Level 2 Site Carpentry Apprenticeship. This apprenticeship will be a 2-year programme made up of 80% work-based learning. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard.

Training Outcome:

After completing a Site Carpentry Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will become a qualified Carpenter, working independently or as part of the carpentry team.

Working Hours :
40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch break.
