Welder Apprentice

Carry out welding and fabrication tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers Use a band saw to accurately cut steel and other materials to the required sizes Prepare materials for fabrication by grinding and cleaning components Operate sand blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or finishing Assist with the assembly and manufacture of fabricated metal products Safely use a range of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, following all health and safety procedures Work as part of the workshop team to complete projects to agreed deadlines Develop practical welding and fabrication skills throughout the apprenticeship with full training and support

Training:

Welder Level 2.



Training Outcome:

Potential full-time role upon completion of apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm however hours are negotiable with what fits in with transport.
