Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer - Fabrication

Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer to join one of the leading metalwork fabricators.

You will have an engineering background, including knowledge of the sheet metal fabrication industry.

You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new customers, then managing those accounts ongoing.

Responsibilities

? The primary objective of the role is to identify, approach and convert potential new customers
? Manage customer relations ongoing.
? Quote for various bespoke manufacturing jobs
? Develop CAD drawings (CAD skills can be trained on the job)


Requirement:

? Minimum previous 3 years of experience in a similar role


? Must be able to read a technical manufacturing drawing.


? Technical sales background within engineering/manufacturing sectors
? Good understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
? Willingness to approach and introduce new customers to the business.
? Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
? Ability to discuss drawings with customers in detail and give appropriate advice.
? Strong Microsoft Office skills


Desirable:

? Quoting experience
? CAD drawing experience


Benefits

? Salary is £35,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience
? Uncapped bonus based on new sales generated (target bonus of at least £10,000)
