Project Manager/Contract Manager - Asbestos Removal

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Removal Project Manager to join a busy removal team.

The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to expand into assisting with elements of Compliance and Health and Safety.

Ideal candidates will be local to Watford and North/West London

You will be managing their removal team and dealing with clients face-to-face as well as via telephone and emails.

Key Duties:

? Planning and pricing of asbestos removal or otherwise remedial work.
? Writing plans of work, and specifications of work.

Vetting and quality control checking others method statements
? Assisting to ensure that all information systems are appropriately maintained
? Site and removal team management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
? Assisting in managing Asbestos Contracts - ensuring delivery of services in a timely manner, maintaining contractor relationship and quality standards.
? Quality monitoring and auditing of removal works where necessary together with the Compliance Manager.
? Working with Subcontractors to price remedial work or reinstatement projects.


Requirements :

? Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior asbestos role
? Experience with the use of Visio for drawings
? Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
? Valid UK driving licence (manual) with a minimum of 1 year driving experience and ability to travel
? Computer literacy in MS Office
? Commercially aware
? Excellent managerial and time management skills
