Flood Risk Apprentice

- Assist in delivering the Council’s duties as a Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA)

- Assist in investigating local flooding incidents and drainage issues

- Assist with responding to planning applications, land drainage consents, flooding incidents

- Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis of key flood risk infrastructure in across the city

- Assist with the development of flood alleviation projects and studies

- Familiarise, learn, and apply relevant legislation and industry standards

- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to towards managing flood risk

Working Hours :
Normal hours of work are based on a 37 hour week, working over 5 days normal office hours which are Monday to Friday. These hours may vary subject to any flexible working and any variation will be determined by the Council’s Flexible Working Policy
