Apprentice Early Years Educator

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote children's development Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, including toys and equipment Support children in developing basic skills such as sharing, communication, and self-care Drive initiatives that encourage children's creativity and curiosity through play-based learning

Training:

Training will take place at work



Training Outcome:

Once qualified, you can commence a career in nurseries or schools. You could undertake further qualifications for leadership roles.



Employer Description:

36 place privately-owned, one-site nursery, managed by owner



Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, eight hours per day, with an hour for lunch. Between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
