Construction Support Technician Apprentice
This apprenticeship is based in Long Clawson Village, Melton Mowbrary. Please ensure you research your commute to ensure you can easily travel there for the start time of 9am.
There is a small window of opportunity to apply, be shortlisted, be selected for interview and if successful, offered the apprenticeship. The college day release starts 7th September and you have to be employed and all documentation completed before that date to be able to join the group. Key Responsibilities – Purchasing Rotation (Office Based)
Raise and process purchase orders for construction materials, plant and tool hire. Accurately process purchase orders using QuickBooks Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers and site teams. Support transport planning and driver scheduling. Track orders and resolve supplier invoice queries. Maintain supplier and asset records. Research products and source new suppliers. Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team.Key Responsibilities – Project Management Rotation (Office & Site Based)
Assist with measuring drawings and preparing quantities. Compile project documentation for live projects. Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors. Attend site visits to monitor progress. Assist with a variety of day-to-day project tasksEntry Requirements
Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Maths. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to prioritise workloads Good IT skills including Excel and Outlook. Interest in construction and the built environment. Ability to get to the office and college.Training:
Weekly day release at Nottingham College, Basford campus, one day per week during term time only.
College start date is Monday 7th September, no late entrants can be accepted.
Training Outcome:
Potential for ongoing employment after successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
There may be opportunities for progression onto Level 4 Higher Construction in the Built Environment apprenticeships should both the employer & candidate be willing to consider

Working Hours :
