IT Apprentice

Key responsibilities will include:

Taking ownership of tasks and ensuring they are completed to a high standard Keeping IT support tickets up to date, accurately logging progress, resolutions, and any follow-up actions Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues, contributing to timely resolutions Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, and printers Performing routine IT maintenance tasks, including software updates and antivirus scans Participating in IT projects, such as system upgrades and deployments Collaborating with the IT team to learn and implement IT policies and best practices Documenting IT processes and configurations to support knowledge sharing Liaising with external vendors and service providers as part of the procurement and support process

Training:
Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects Throughout the apprenticeship, learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme

Training Outcome:
The role offers long-term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position

Working Hours :
8:15am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday. 8:15am to 3:00pm on Friday Lunch is 12:00 to 12:45
