Apprentice Bookkeeper

Processing sales invoices, purchase invoices, expenses and bank transactions Maintaining accurate client bookkeeping records using Xero and other cloud accounting software Completing bank, credit card and control account reconciliations Using data-capture and bookkeeping applications effectively Identifying missing information and raising client queries Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns Maintaining clear supporting records and an appropriate audit trail Keeping client work organised and completing tasks within agreed deadlines Responding to review points and applying feedback to future work Supporting the bookkeeping and accounts teams as required

Training Outcome:

Subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship and continued performance, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent bookkeeper position and undertake further accountancy qualifications.
