Learning Resources Apprentice
Manage incoming phone calls and emails, directing enquiries to appropriate colleagues, departments, and external contacts while delivering excellent customer service
Contribute to team meetings and communicate routine information clearly and professionally through verbal, written, and electronic channels
Record, maintain, and process information accurately using systems such as ESR, PARE, and Excel, while supporting filing and record-keeping processes
Resolve customer service and administrative enquiries within defined procedures, escalating more complex issues to senior staff when required
Plan and organise daily workloads, coordinate internal and external meetings and training sessions, and provide administrative support, including note-taking when required
Support the production and maintenance of resources, training materials, publicity materials, and careers fair information
Use office equipment safely and appropriately, reporting faults in line with organisational procedures and maintaining relevant training requirements
Assist with student placement administration, including logging placement details and collating student hours accurately and promptly
Provide non-clinical information to patients, clients, carers, and external contacts regarding appointments, transport, and related enquiries
Comply with organisational policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Information Governance, Infection Control, and Fire Safety requirements
Support service improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for administrative process enhancements and assisting with implementing agreed changes
Assist with monitoring stationery stock levels and maintaining administrative resources and materials
Support the development of colleagues, students, and trainees through guidance and assistance within the role
Contribute to audits, surveys, and research activities under supervision, producing routine information and reports as required
Work within established procedures under supervision, using initiative to resolve routine administrative and customer service issues within agreed limits
Training:
Hull College will deliver the Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.
Training Outcome:
Potential for a full-time role with the company upon completion of the apprenticeship.
