We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to join our growing team. Gain real-world business experience, build essential professional skills, and work towards a nationally recognised Business Administration qualification through this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with our office team, learning all aspects of business administration and customer service within a busy showroom and office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming customers into the showroom and providing a friendly first point of contact Assisting with customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in person Managing incoming and outgoing emails Booking appointments for surveyors and fitters Generating invoices and processing customer information Taking customer payments over the phone Accurately entering customer orders and measurements onto the company's computer system Supporting the day-to-day administration of the business Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Flexibility to work up to 2 Saturdays per month (9.00am - 5.00pm) when required Time off in lieu provided where applicable

Location:

1150 Stratford Road Hall Green Birmingham B28 8AF. The showroom benefits from excellent public transport links, with nearby bus and train services making commuting easy.

Training:

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours Business Administrator L3 Apprenticeship Standard Functional skills in Maths and English if required This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise

Training Outcome:

This will be based on candidates contributions, abilities, competence and commitments. There could be the prospect of administration opportunities due to demand and expansion at the end of training / apprenticeship.

UC Blinds (UC Blinds Limited) is a family-run window blinds and curtains company based in Birmingham, established in 1996. The company specializes in made-to-measure blinds, shutters, curtains, and awnings for both residential and commercial customers across Birmingham, Solihull, and the wider West Midlands. They offer manufacturing, supply, and installation services, along with free local surveys and fitting, operating from their showroom on Stratford Road in Hall Green, Birmingham

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (5 Days) a week with a potential 2 weekends every month.
