Senior Product Designer

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Designer to join a well-established biotech company using large-scale genetic data and AI to predict disease risk and advance precision healthcare. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape user-focused digital products, turning complex information into clear, accessible and intuitive experiences. This is a 6-month contract-based role offering hybrid / remote working options, salary range of £500 - £600 (DOE) per day and benefits. You will be responsible for: ? Planning and delivering user research, usability testing and design validation activities. ? Developing interactive prototypes to test concepts and guide product decisions. ? Taking ownership of UX and UI design throughout discovery, development and validation. ? Turning complex data, insights and recommendations into simple, engaging user experiences. ? Designing dashboards, workflows and decision-support interfaces that make information easier to understand and act upon. ? Carrying out interviews and usability studies to identify user needs and opportunities for improvement. ? Working closely with product, engineering and business teams to develop and prioritise effective solutions. ? Using qualitative and quantitative insights to refine products and improve the overall user experience. ? Presenting design thinking, research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ? Promoting accessibility, inclusive design and user-centred principles throughout the design process. What we are looking for: Essential: ? Previously worked as a Senior Product Designer or in a similar role. ? Experience working within digital product environments. ? Extensive UX and UI design experience, supported by a strong portfolio of completed work. ? Background in delivering user research, prototype testing and design experimentation. ? Experience working within Agile and cross-functional product teams. ? Advance
