Are you an experienced Civil Engineering CAD Technician, on the lookout for an exciting opportunity?

Due to our ongoing success, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineering CAD Technician to accompany our team on a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects.
You will have a large involvement in both new build and refurbishment projects, working from early planning to end delivery phase.
Role and responsibilities
Preparation of civil engineering drawings including drainage and roads and documents to company standards.
Adherence to standard procedures and document controls etc.
Act as “document controller” in use of file sharing systems such as BIM and manage the incoming and outgoing documents/drawings for each project.
Assisting and supporting junior staff and contributing towards their development.
Liaising with clients and members of the design team to raise and resolve issues in a pro-active and timely fashion.
Assisting in programming and managing projects.
Software capabilities
Expert in the use of AutoCAD,
An understanding of PDS or Civils 3D
Knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes
Education requirementsA related B-TEC HNC qualification.
