Training:
The course is a level 4 HNC in Mechanical Engineering. This is one day a week (yet to be stipulated) at City College Norwich.
Training Outcome:
Our ambition is using the 4-year apprenticeship all our apprentices will come out of their training as a fully skilled Machinist (Milling or Turning). We would look to keep the apprentice in full-time work with the applicant to grow with our business.
Employer Description:
NE Engineering is a manufacturing facility based in Norwich. We manufacture for a variety of different sectors. Examples are Automotive, Energy, Subsea telecoms and many more. Our main processes are CNC milling and CNC turning. We have a variety of different work centres that we currently use. We have Matsuura, Doosan's, Haas and Mazak work centres. Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 Fridays 07:30 - 15:00
