Junior Technician Apprenticeship (Civil Engineer)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Engineering:

Assist in the modelling of our projects to a high standard and to industry best practice using the latest software Assist in production of construction information including drawings and schedules to all DYSE guidelines and procedures or those of the client as necessary Checks own work

Health & Safety:

Be developing knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 and the duties of designers Fosters safe by design principles

Commercial:

Manage own time to work within the financial and programme constraints of a project Manage own time to meet multiple project deadlines

General:

Keeps abreast of the latest industry developments Undertakes work in accordance with the relevant company procedures Follows the company’s quality management system

Training:
Training will take place both in the workplace and at college You will attend Future Skills College one day per week for your formal training

Training Outcome:
Potential fulltime role upon successfully completing apprenticeship Under the support and encouragement of DYSE, develop towards becoming a professionally qualified member of a relevant institution (EngTech with ICE or IStructE)
