Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative
Assist with a wide range of property maintenance and refurbishment tasks in customers' homes and communal areas
Learn and carry out basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling and decorating work under supervision
Support colleagues to complete repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Use and maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles responsibly
Attend college training and complete coursework towards a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification
Build a portfolio of evidence and take part in assessor visits as part of the apprenticeship programme
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Provide excellent customer service when working in residents' homes and communities
Work as part of a team while developing practical skills and industry knowledge
Training:
Training will take place both in the workplace and at Cornwall College. Apprentices will spend four days a week gaining practical, hands-on experience with Coastline's Property Maintenance team and one day a week attending college to develop their technical knowledge and skills. The apprenticeship combines workplace learning with classroom-based training, leading to a City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in Property Maintenance.
Training Outcome:
Whilst this apprenticeship is offered as a fixed-term contract, our intention is to offer a permanent role at the end of the programme to the right candidate who successfully completes their qualification and demonstrates Coastline's values in their work. This can provide the foundation for a rewarding long-term career in property maintenance.

Monday- Thursday 8.00am- 4.00pm Friday 8.00am- 3:30pm
