Apprentice Engineer with Gemini Rail Services

You'll be joining an award-winning apprenticeship programme with a track record of developing apprentices into highly skilled engineers. What will the apprentice be doing? As part of the production team at Wolverton Works, you'll receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced engineers who will support and mentor you throughout your apprenticeship.

Your duties will include:

Installing and maintaining electrical systems on railway vehicles Testing and inspecting electrical equipment Diagnosing and repairing faults Learning how to use specialist engineering tools and equipment Supporting maintenance and refurbishment projects Following strict health and safety procedures Attending college on day release to develop your technical knowledge Building a portfolio of evidence showcasing your skills and progress

Training:

You will work towards a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Standard Level 3.

Your training will be delivered through a combination of:

Practical workplace learning Day-release attendance at Milton Keynes College Mentoring from experienced engineering professionals Industry-specific rail engineering training Health & Safety and compliance training

Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll gain valuable technical skills, industry experience and a recognised qualification that can launch a long-term engineering career.

Working Hours :
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, and Friday, 7:00am to 12:00pm.
