Site Carpenter Apprentice

As a Site Carpenter Apprentice, you will support experienced carpenters and gain practical skills on construction sites. Daily tasks may include:

Measuring, marking, and cutting timber and other building materials.
Assisting with the installation of doors, door frames, windows, staircases, and flooring. Helping to build and fit timber structures such as partitions, stud walls, and roof components. Loading, unloading, and safely storing materials and tools. Using hand tools and power tools under supervision.
Reading basic drawings and following site instructions. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area. Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance of tools and equipment. Assisting with first-fix carpentry work (structural timber work) and second-fix carpentry work (finishing and fitting work). Following health and safety procedures at all times, including wearing the correct PPE. Working alongside other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Attending training sessions and completing apprenticeship coursework as required.

Training:

College workshops one day a week at EKC Group. 

Trainer visits to the workplace once every 6-8 weeks.



Training Outcome:

Could lead to a permanent full-time role with this company.
