Level 2 or 3 Apprentice Early Years Practitioner/Educator

The apprentice will complete a full induction and mandatory training and once deemed confident and competent will be expected:

To follow the policies and procedures of the setting Complete nappy changes Support safe sleep *Create a safe environment Check resources and environment Ensure the environment is clean Support the children to eat safely Develop understanding of the EYFS and development matters Have strong interactions with the children Work as a team Communicate effectively Observe, plan, assess and review using the family app Create inviting environments inside and outside

Training:
Paediatric First Aid Safeguarding Manual Handling Behaviour training Prevent Equality and Diversity FGM County lines Allergens GDPR COSHH Health and Safety Fire Awareness Fire Extinguisher Basic Food Hygiene Policies and Procedures Safer Food Better Business Oral Health Apprentices will also be placed on relevant local authority training NDNA Training Parenta training.

Training Outcome:

If the apprentice completes training, they will be encouraged to study further. They can take on extra roles and responsibilities, like 'Well being Officer, SEN support as 1:1, and after experience could apply for a supervisor's role. The running of a large nursery changes consistently as staff may take maternity, change working hours etc.

Working Hours :
We have different shifts. If under 18 work hours are 08:30-17:30 with an hour's unpaid break.
