Carpentry Apprenticeship
Work in compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure the wellbeing of yourself and others at all times
Promptly report any non-compliance with the construction programme to the appropriate person. Adapt to changes in schedule and requirements as necessary
Prepare the worksite or workshop by selecting appropriate materials and tools for the project
Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and associated equipment to complete tasks to industry standards
Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and other construction roles, to ensure project success. Safely receive, unload, move, and lift materials to the site, following good handling practices to prevent injury or damage
Maintain a clear and safe worksite, disposing of waste appropriately and sustainably
Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about current and future developments in the field
Use the appropriate tools, materials, and equipment to carry out first and second fix site carpenter tasks, including roofs
Perform minor repairs or modifications as needed. Ensure all work conforms to current building regulations, quality standards, and work instructions
Training:
College day release at South Gloucestershire & Stroud campus in Filton, Bristol
Day to day site learning and evidence gathering

Training Outcome:
Permanent role in the company
Possible progression to a Level 3 discipline i.e. trade route or QS / Management
