Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice
The successful apprentice will support the supply chain operation across several departments, including:
Booking incoming stock onto the Rubicon ERP system Printing and attaching traceability labels and pallet cards Storing stock correctly using FIFO stock rotation principles Scanning pallets into the correct warehouse locations Supporting stock audits and stock accuracy checks Preparing production orders and supporting packing operations Scanning products against works orders Managing stock variances and reporting discrepancies Picking and preparing customer orders for despatch Building and labelling pallets ready for shipment Loading trailers safely and accurately Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks Ordering consumables and supporting pallet/crate management Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures Using warehouse systems and ERP software to maintain accurate recordsTraining:

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Training will be delivered by Hull College through a combination of workplace learning, reviews, coaching and off-the-job trainingTraining Outcome:
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent role within the business and progression into senior warehouse, logistics, team leader or supply chain positions.
Employer Description:
Hughes Group is a family-run mushroom grower and packer based at its Howden site. The business operates 24/7, supplying fresh produce and value-added products, with new ranges continually being developed. The apprentice will gain experience working across multiple areas of the supply chain within a busy food production and distribution environment.
Working Hours :
Variable working week. Overtime potentially available during peak periods. Working days and hours TBC.
