Bricklaying Apprentice
Main duties would be to assist one of our teams in the day-to-day duties in the bricklaying trade, this could range from working on commercial properties, to residential properties, to industrial projects too.
Work as part of a team and use materials safely.
Duties will include:
Preparation of materials Preparation of site Learn and action bricklaying techniques Interpret drawings for masonry structures Using all appropriate tools, power tools, trowels, brick hammers, levels and gauges Building technology Follow health and safety procedures Work as part of a team and use materials safel You will be trained in all aspects of brickwork and learn about the requirements of each contract that the company works on. You will be mentored by an experienced brick workerExcellent on the job training will be given and the apprenticeship qualification will be undertaken with Hull College.
Training:
Level 2 Bricklayer apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Functional Skills in English and maths (if applicable) Day release once a week at Hull CollegeTraining Outcome:
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship a full-time position may be available for the right candidate

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.
