Bodywork and Vehicle Paint Spray Apprentice

Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands-on experience in:

Preparing vehicles for repair by cleaning, sanding, filling and masking damaged areas. Learning how to mix paint, apply primers, base coats and clear coats using professional spray equipment. Assisting with repairing damaged body panels and replacing parts where required. Polishing, buffing and finishing repaired vehicles to achieve a high-quality professional finish. Following health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment.

 

Training:

Day release at Sunderland College.

Training Outcome:

There will be the possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Employer Description:

Whitestar Travel is based in Peterlee, County Durham, with a busy vehicle workshop specialising in vehicle diagnostics, repairs and paintwork. Alongside maintaining our own fleet, we also carry out work on a wide range of customer vehicles.

Working Hours :
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
