Apprentice Maintenance Operative

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work:

Duties will include:

Carrying out basic repairs (e.g., plumbing, painting, carpentry, minor electrical work) Assisting with planned preventative maintenance checks Responding to maintenance requests and fault reporting Inspecting buildings and identifying repair needs Using hand and power tools safely and correctly Following health and safety procedures at all times Keeping work areas clean and maintaining maintenance records

Training:

You will be required to attend College one day per week, term time only at our Somer Valley Campus in Radstock.

Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be the opportunity to continue working at the hotel.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, which will include one day for college. Working hours to be discussed at interview.
