Warehouse & Logistics Apprentice

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Under the guidance of the Warehouse Operators, the apprentice will learn to:

Goods Inbound: Unload, inspect, and check incoming stock deliveries against paperwork. Inventory Control: Put away goods into correct locations and support regular stock checks. Order Picking: Locate and extract items accurately using digital or paper pick-lists. Packing & Dispatch: Securely wrap, pack, and label goods for safe transport to customers. Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Systems & IT: Use warehouse management software (WMS) and hand-held scanning devices.

Training:
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Functional Skills if needed Work-based learning

Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the apprenticeship frequently opens doors to permanent roles including:

Forklift / MHE Driver (with funded license training).

Monday-Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm, 1 hour for lunch unpaid.
