Maintenance Gardener/Landscaper Apprentice

Assisting the teams with:

Lawn care and maintenance Maintaining raised beds, borders and planted areas Pruning shrubs, hedges and small trees Monitoring plant health Installation of paving, patios, decking and fencing Groundworks and site preparation

Training:
Horticulture or Landscape Construction Operative Level 2 Day release to Brooksby College Functional skills if required

Training Outcome:

You will have opportunity to take on more responsibility as you progress, including undertaking training to obtain your licenses in using a chainsaw, felling trees, using pesticides and other courses that you may be interested in. There is potential to work towards a more responsible role such as team leader or head gardener/landscaper in the future.

4-days per week (other day college release), 7.00 am - 4.30 pm (approx.), working days TBC.
