Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Single Man Site – Liverpool Street, London – £48,000–£50,000 DOE + Package – No Call Out
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a single-man site based in Liverpool Street, London. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a medium-sized commercial office building, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance while delivering a first-class service to the client.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial building maintenance, be confident working independently, and possess excellent client-facing skills. Package & Working HoursBasic salary of £48,000–£50,000 DOEMonday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:0025 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (rising to 28 days with service)No Call OutCompany Pension SchemeOngoing training and career developmentStable, long-term contractKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all building services.Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, small installations, emergency lighting, and power distribution.Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS).Carry out basic mechanical maintenance including pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and pressurisation units.Complete minor plumbing repairs including unblocking toilets and replacing taps or pipework components.Maintain plant rooms to a high standard and ensure statutory compliance.Complete and update site logbooks and maintenance records.Carry out routine building fabric maintenance where required.Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site.Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the client, acting as the main point of contact on site.Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation.Identify plant faults proactively and recommend remedial actions to minimise downtime.RequirementsCity & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring RegulationsProven experience working within commercial building maintenanceStrong electrical bias with a good understanding of mechanical building servicesExperience working independently on a single-man site is desirableExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsStrong client-facing and communication skillsMust be able to provide copies of relevant trade qualificationsIf you're looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of your own site and work within a well-established FM provider, we'd love to hear from you.
