Weekend FLT Counterbalance Drivers – Rotherham

Saturday & Sunday | 12-Hour Shifts | £18.15 per hour

Aqumen Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Weekend FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

We currently have two weekend opportunities available:

1 x Weekend Day Shift FLT Driver 6am - 6pm 1 x Weekend Night Shift FLT Driver Saturday and Sunday12-hour shifts£18.15 per hour

This is a great opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver looking for consistent weekend work within a busy manufacturing and yard environment.

The Role

Working as part of the site operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products and materials across the site.

The role is similar to a Production Support Operator (PSO) position, with a strong focus on FLT operation, yard movements and supporting the smooth flow of products from production into storage and dispatch areas.

Your duties will include:

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift TruckLoading and unloading products and materialsMoving finished products into the yard and designated storage areasTransporting products safely around the siteSupporting the movement of stock between production and yard areasEnsuring products are stored safely and correctlyWorking safely around other FLTs, vehicles and site personnelFollowing all site health and safety proceduresSupporting the wider production and yard operation where requiredKeeping working areas safe, clean and organised

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid, accredited Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.

We are looking for candidates who:

Have previous Counterbalance FLT experienceHave worked within a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution or yard environmentAre confident loading, unloading and moving products safelyHave a good understanding of workplace health and safetyAre comfortable working 12-hour shiftsCan commit to working every Saturday and SundayAre reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a busy teamAre comfortable working across both indoor and outdoor yard environments

Pay & Hours

Pay Rate: £18.15 per hour
Days: Saturday and Sunday
Shift Length: 12 hours per shift
