Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

A structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and support commercial delivery from tender stage through to final account, in Co. Kildare.

Start Date: Immediate
Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent

Duties:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural steel projects Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Prepare bills of quantities and cost plans Monitor project costs and variations during the construction phase Assist in contract administration and final account preparation

Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline Experience in structural steel fabrication or construction sector preferred Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
