Motor Vehicle Apprentice

Daily duties will include:

Helping maintain vehicles, including general servicing Checks and routine maintenance on vehicles Examining faults on our fleet of vans, cars and trucks Working closely with our existing workshop team on a number of yard-required duties Ensure clean and well maintained workshop environments Diagnostics on cars and vehicles to source faults and issue repairs

Training:

You will be working towards a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light) apprenticeship standard.

You will be required to attend Cornwall College Camborne on a weekly basis as part of the apprenticeship training.

You will receive support from an assessor and an apprenticeship advisor.

Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be an opportunity to talk about the options for full-time employment as a Workshop / Automotive Mechanic.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Hours may occasionally vary based on the discretion of individual site foremen and discussions held.
