Apprentice Business Administration

Answering emails.

Taking calls from our support team, record and report to Housing Manager.

Completing Grant and benefit application forms.

Build relationships with Plymouth City Council, regarding housing benefit and council tax.

Monitor any damage or maintenance requirements at our properties.

Assess the level of risk to Clients and staff and respond accordingly.

Analyse and monitor utility bills and payments.

Understand compliance issues and laws around housing.

Complete health and safety audits.

Record hours and allocate tasks to maintenance team.



Training:

Apprenticeship training will take place primarily in the workplace, but with occasional college attendance.



Training Outcome:

There will be a position available, dependent on successful completion of the apprenticeship and on an individual basis.

Marama Care works primarily with people transitioning from different services, people moving into supported living and others who just need someone to support them in their life choices, activities and making sure they lead a meaningful fulfilled life.


No two days are the same, within the housing department. You could be completing an audit one day and then acting on an emergency repair at a clients property, sourcing items and allocating tasks as they come in.



Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
