Apprentice Business Administrator

Supporting our busy office team with day-to-day administration. Answering customer telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner. Booking and managing appointments. Preparing laboratory submission forms. Producing client estimates. Supporting our vets through our WhatsApp communication groups. Delivering equipment and supplies to vets working out on the road. Helping keep the surgery, office and storerooms clean, tidy and well organised. Assisting with sweeping up and mucking out our inpatient areas when needed.

Training:

The training will be delivered weekly / bi-weekly through MS Teams from the workplace.

Training Outcome:

We’ll support you in developing your administrative and customer service skills, learning how a busy veterinary office operates, and becoming a valued member of our team.

Our experienced team provides a wide range of equine veterinary services, including pre-purchase examinations, lameness investigations, vaccinations, routine dentistry, diagnostic imaging, fertility work, surgery and much more. Using the latest equipment and techniques, we deliver cutting-edge diagnosis and treatment, bringing many of our services directly to clients through our fully equipped mobile surgery.

Based at our dedicated equine facility, we are also able to carry out more advanced procedures, including complex dental work, eye clinics, lameness assessments and surgical treatments. Where specialist care is required, we work closely with leading equine hospitals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Working Hours :
The hours of work are 8.30-17.15 Monday to Friday.
