Mechanic Apprentice

Working alongside experienced mechanics, you'll gain hands-on experience in:

Assisting with servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of cars and light commercial vehicles Learning how to carry out vehicle diagnostics, identify faults and use specialist diagnostic equipment Completing routine safety inspections, oil changes, brake repairs and other general maintenance tasks Using workshop tools and equipment safely while keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised Working alongside the team to ensure all vehicles are repaired to a high standard and are safe and ready for customers

Training:
Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician - light vehicle Level 3 Day release at Sunderland College

Training Outcome:

There will be the possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. 

Employer Description:

Whitestar Travel based in Peterlee, County Durham, with a busy vehicle workshop specialising in vehicle diagnostics, repairs and paintwork. Alongside maintaining our own fleet, we also carry out work on a wide range of customer vehicles.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
