We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead a well-established 4-star full-service hotel in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hotelier to take full ownership of a thriving operation, leading a dedicated team while driving exceptional guest experiences, commercial performance and operational excellence.

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the hotel's performance across all departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events and Leisure. You'll inspire your team to deliver outstanding service while ensuring the hotel consistently achieves its financial and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership across all hotel departments.Drive revenue growth and maximise profitability.Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards.Lead, coach and develop department heads and wider hotel teams.Manage budgets, forecasting, payroll and cost control.Develop local business relationships and identify new commercial opportunities.Ensure full compliance with brand standards, health & safety and company policies.

Requirements

Previous experience as a General Manager or Hotel Manager within a full-service 4-star or 5-star hotel.A commercially astute leader with a proven track record of delivering financial results.Strong Food & Beverage and Rooms experience.Passionate about people development and creating a positive team culture.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Hands-on, visible and guest-focused leadership style.
