A leading construction engineering organisation is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a range of high-profile business and technology transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work across digital transformation, enterprise applications, cyber security, AI and operational improvement programmes during a significant period of business change and growth.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, project managers, technical teams and third-party partners, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, documenting requirements and ensuring technology solutions deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements. Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across the business to understand current and future state processes. Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories and functional specifications. Identify opportunities to improve, standardise and automate business processes. Support the delivery of digital transformation and technology change initiatives. Work closely with technical teams to evaluate solution options and ensure business requirements are met. Support solution design, testing, business readiness, training and user adoption activities. Assist with change impact assessments and ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.


Required Experience:

Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within IT, digital transformation or business change environments. Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements for complex technology projects. Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and communication skills. Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, HR, Finance, Microsoft 365 or Service Management platforms. Strong business process mapping and process improvement experience. Experience supporting infrastructure, cyber security, enterprise application or digital transformation programmes. Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into business-focused solutions. Experience of AI, automation or process optimisation initiatives would be advantageous. Desirable Qualifications BCS, IIBA or equivalent Business Analysis qualification. Lean Six Sigma certification. Agile Business Analyst, AgilePM, Scrum or SAFe certification. PRINCE2 or Change Management qualifications.
