In your second year, you will move into a different apprenticeship in an area that suits your strengths and interests, chosen from a shortlist we provide. Past routes have included marketing, sales and customer service, and IT. Wherever you go next, it will be a genuine specialism, not a token add-on, and it will be shaped by where you show promise during year one.
By the end of the two years, you will hold two recognised qualifications and a real understanding of how a growing import and distribution business works, from the warehouse floor upward. The forward-thinking nature of our business should not be overlooked. We adapt and implement quickly, we are very hard worker and dedicated…most of all we truly love our jobs and our business…if you don't have that kind of mentality, please to apply for this role. If you show us hard work and dedication, we will champion and support you all the way.
Employer Description:
The Tapas Lunch Company has spent over 20 years bringing fine Spanish foods to the UK, and we're still, at heart, a family-run business — the kind place where your ideas actually get heard, and your contribution genuinely matters.
Right now, we're at the start of one of the most exciting chapters in our history: for the first time, we're bringing our warehouse and distribution operation completely in-house. That means this role isn't stepping into a process that's been running the same way for years — you'd be one of the first people helping us build it. We were inspired to launch this apprenticeship programme after speaking to a business owner and mentor of ours, whose own company now has many of its key and top roles filled by people who joined as apprentices. We are a forward-thinking company; we built our own software platform and continue to embrace advancements in AI throughout our operations. Everyone does a bit of everything — everyone picks and packs, managers and owners included. The rest of our time is spent on our own specialisms and wider contributions to the company.
