Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

To complete a programme of training to be conducted within the factory’s Engineering team

To become proficient in the application and use of a wide range of engineering tasks both mechanical and electrical. Carrying out such tasks and duties as directed by the engineering team that require the levels of performance and competence of an engineer Attend a weekly progress meeting to summarise skills developed and attained through the course of the week. Clean as you go policy. Maintain your tools in a clean & tidy state. Develop sound fault finding skills both mechanical & electrical. Follow site H&S policy and regulations, if in doubt ask! Gaining familiarity with machines, lines, services etc. Contribute practically on the reactive and proactive maintenance. Contribute practically on the ongoing projects if required.

Training:

Attend day release at South West Durham Training, Newton Aycliffe.

Day(s) and times to be determined and is dependent on the successful applicants previous engineering experience or qualifications.



Training Outcome:

Full time Maintenance Technician role within the company
